Collaborative Working Group Meetings

BCBI will sponsor regular working group meetings that bring together Postdoctoral Fellows, faculty from computational and experimental laboratories, and other interested researchers across the UC Berkeley-UCSF ecosystem. Designed as active scientific working sessions rather than traditional seminars, these meetings will provide a forum for identifying important scientific challenges, sharing emerging ideas and preliminary results, and developing new collaborative projects.

The working groups will serve as a central mechanism for building an intellectual community at the interface of computation, biology, and medicine. By bringing together researchers with complementary expertise around fundamental biomedical problems, they will catalyze collaborations that extend beyond individual Fellows and labs, engaging faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students across the broader computational biomedicine community.

These meetings will begin in Spring 2027. Details will be posted here as the program takes shape.
